Rachel and Antwan met in 2007 when Rachel was working at a bar. Although they were already acquainted with each other, it was only to the point of social politeness. Throughout the years they became more friendly through social media commentaries. In April 2021 Antwan took the bold step of messaging Rachel on instagram and specifically asked “ if you were single I would fly you out for a good time”. Being coy, Rachel was single but chose not to share that information for the moment. She decided not to let him in all her business so soon, lol. After making him wait a month, Rachel replied to his story and questioned him about the name of the club he frequented in a state she often visited for entertainment. He replied something comical, they initiated messages back and fourth, exchanged information, and have been inseparable since.  They immediately recognized that they have in common alot of shared interests in music, fashion , and traveling. Their official 1st date was July 19,2021 at The Chop House in Ann Arbor. As dinner commenced Antwan stated “watch ima marry you” to which Rachel laughed.  They kicked off a whirlwind romance the following week in Atlanta. Since that time they have vacationed together once a month, enjoying each others company, and delving deeper into their bonded nuances. On Jan 14, 2023 Antwan requested Rachel prepare herself to join a friend couple of his for dinner. Unbeknownst to her, he had arranged for her children and close family to be there as he proposed that she agree to partner with him for life. Of course she said yes and the rest is history being written daily.❤️
