We have booked rooms for guests on 30th May, and 5-7th June. This is also the venue of the madhuramveppu, and about 30 minutes from Little Flower Church (for the betrothal.)

Cochin International Airport
If you are flying in from outside of Kerala, we recommend flying into Kochi. The Reccaa Club is about 50 minutes drive from the airport. We recommend using a cab service such as Uber, for which we expect the price to be roughly GBP 7-10, or the airport taxis from the kiosks at the airport - these are usually pre-paid, take international cards, and are fairly straightforward with no set-up or haggling. For the betrothal, we have arranged for guests at the RECCAA Club to travel together to and from the Little Flower Church and Chakolas on the 31st. Shuttle from Reccaa Club to/from Wedding

We have arranged for guests at the RECCAA Club to travel together to and from the wedding venue on the 7th. It is approximately a 2 hour journey. There are quite a few of us travelling from Kochi to Thrissur and back, so we will be in constant touch to make sure everyone reaches there without a hitch! Further details will be shared with you on your arrival.

For International Guests
By now, you would have your visas ready to go! To travel to India, you need to have a printed copy of your e-Visa you have received as a PDF (the one with your picture and barcode on it) by email. Once you arrive at the airport, I would have the wedding invite and the address of RECCAA Club handy in case you are asked about the purpose of your visit. In addition to the above, we strongly recommend taking care of the following points: 1. Ensure you have a phone plan with mobile data in India in order to stay connected and be able to get around. 2. Take a travel adapter for your chargers. Power sockets in India are of types C, D and M. 3. Travel insurance to cover your journey and time in India. This list is of course not exhaustive. To optimally prepare for your travel to India, you can have a look at online guides, such as the link below for example, including also information on mobile data, e-sim, etc. The currency is INR, which has a conversion rate of around 1 GBP = 113.81 INR as of 15/05/2025. We understand that current events may raise some concerns about travel to India, which makes us all the more grateful of those who are making the journey. Please rest assured that Kerala and the southern regions of India have remained calm and largely untouched by the ongoing conflict, offering a peaceful environment for travelers.
