True love sometimes takes you on a wild ride, through the back alleys, the long way, and over uncharted territory. We'd both felt the longing of wanting someone to call our own. Something real and genuine. The kind of love that our grandparents shared. And I don't think either of us were prepared to find someone so perfect living only ten minutes away. After reluctantly downloading Bumble, we'd found one another almost immediately. Connecting felt more like reconnecting. Like talking to a long lost friend, someone we'd known once before in a past life. We got along so well, bonding over our love of dad-jokes to the point where we agreed to get married before we'd even met in person. On our first date at Papagaliano's in Niles, we talked about how we'd imagine our wedding day. And as soon as we'd met, it felt like 'oh my God, I can't believe I found you again.' We shared our passions with one another, Tony learned to ride a horse and Joanna learned how to shoot a gun. We'd both sharpened our gardening skills together and moved to a little homestead in the country just a year later to start farming chickens and growing our own food. We built up our little home from a solid foundation of love and watched our garden blossom and bloom. Two wonderful years of love later, we got engaged all over again and now, shortly after our third anniversary together we want to celebrate the sacrament of holy matrimony the Big Fat Greek way with all our friends and family. We're so excited to start our life as husband and wife and celebrate many many more years of love to come.
