Antonio and Ana met through their mutual friend, Isabel back in freshman year of high school, 2005. Ana was planning her Quinceñera and she was missing one more chambelan. Isabel advised her that she had a person in mind. A cute boy in her JROTC class with beautiful green eyes. Ana being shy (at the time) ask Isabel to invite him. Surprisingly he agreed even though he knew nothing of Ana. Rehearsals started for the Quinceñera and Antonio started to grow feelings for Ana. He started planning with Isabel on how to ask her to be his girlfriend. Of course being as young as they were, they decided to play a game of 7 minutes in heaven after rehearsals. It was planned so that both Ana and Antonio got picked. Ana was originally told about his plans and she was so excited that the cute boy with green eyes liked her. When the time came and they both got picked for 7 minutes in heaven. They awkwardly sat in the closet in silence. It wasn’t until the last few seconds before the door got flung open that he asked her to be his girlfriend and she said yes. Time went on, and they fell in love. Antonio wrote her letters of his dreams of marrying Ana, having their own home and creating a family. Unfortunately later in the year Antonio had to move to another city. Although they went separate ways, they kept touch over their high school years. But phone numbers were changed and both ended up in completely different paths. Losing touch with each other, they dated other people. After graduating high school, Ana was tired of the guys she dated. None of which ever treated her right. She longed for that relationship that felt real to her in her freshman year of high school. Everything reminded her of Antonio, she re read the letters he once wrote her. Late one night, Ana was walking to work. She looked up at the night sky filled with stars and made a wish to God. She asked him to help her reconnect with the love of her life. The boy that had dreams of marrying her. The only one that ever treated her right and made her feel like a princess. Three days later, (during the MySpace era) Ana came along a profile that looked just like Antonio. The name on the profile was a nickname she never knew and his real name was no where to be found. Still she added him on MySpace. Once she was accepted by him, Antonio wrote her. He asked her if she remembered him and the promises he made her. Of course she said yes. Without hesitation and without seeing each other in years he once again asked her to be his girlfriend. Ana’s wish had come true. From there on, Antonio would bike it from Montebello city to Anaheim to see Ana every weekend. A 20 mile bike ride, proving that Antonio’s love for Ana was and still is very real. As for the rest, most of you know the story. They moved in together, had kids, and got married. Antonio and Ana now wish to renew their vows after 14 years of being married. And 21 years of knowing/dating each other. Through life’s struggles, they stayed together and with Gods blessing continue to celebrate their love for each other.
