MONREALE & DINNER AT LOCAL ESTATE
Pick-up will be at Hotel La Torre at 2:00 PM by private transportation. Driving time Mondello > Monreale: approximately 40 minutes The afternoon will begin with a visit to the charming hilltop town of Monreale, where Arab-Norman art and architecture reached the pinnacle of its glory with the magnificent Cathedral. Commissioned in 1174 by King William II, the Cathedral is world-famous for its extraordinary golden mosaics depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments. Guided tour with Claudio (our special guide) discovering the history, art, and traditions of one of Sicily’s most iconic landmarks. After the visit, the day will continue through the Sicilian countryside toward Baglio Passofondo Estate, where we will enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by vineyards and authentic Sicilian atmosphere. Driving time Monreale > Estate: approximately 1 hour A special welcome dinner will be served, offering a taste of local cuisine and local wines — the perfect way to begin the Sicilian journey together. Driving time Estate > Hotel La Torre: approximately 1 hour Return to Palermo is expected around 9:30 PM. Dress Code Comfortable attire recommended. Any color is welcome.
