Antonio spotted Julie from across the Bullfighter's square and instantly thought to himself WOW! They began their journey as language partners racing to the top of the Micalet Tower, eating frozen yogurt, and making many plans for discotecas. In between the calimochos, walks in the Rio, and trips to the roof, Julie and Antonio fumbled through Spanish and English to tell each other how they enjoyed each other's company. From there, they learned how to use technology to keep in touch by sending voice messages each and every day. They conquered a six hour time difference and continued to learn the other's language. Julie would listen to Antonio's message before she fell asleep and Antonio would listen to Julie's voice when he first woke up in the morning. They saved up their cash and visited each other for spotlight holidays and summers, meeting each others friends and family on home turf. After "I love you" on a tennis court and two weeks walking the Camino de Santiago they continued to hold out hope for their long distance relationship. In May 2016, they moved in together to an apartment full of love in Queens, New York. Their weekends full of soccer, hiking, and brunch they continued to love life together. They grew into a routine that allows them to inspire, excite, and motivate each other each day. That takes us to their wedding day! YAY!
