Things To Do

Many family and friends are traveling from across the country to join us to celebrate, so here are a few of our favorite things to do! If you plan on hiking, Washington Trail Association (WTA) is great to check current trail conditions, distance/elevation gain, and see what park entry pass/parking pass is needed. Going early to beat the crowds is recommended.
Mt Rainer Hike (Skyline Loop Trial)

Mt Rainer Hike (Skyline Loop Trial)

One of our fav hikes for Mt Rainer views. Another great one is Naches Peak (https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/naches-peak-loop) which is closer to the mountain.

North Cascades (Lake Diablo)

North Cascades (Lake Diablo)

Or recommend Diablo Lake Trail (https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/diablo-lake) & taking ferry one way ($10 per person and operates twice a day). Also fun to drive one hour north to Winthrop, an adorable western-themed town!

Big Four Ice Caves

Big Four Ice Caves

Tony's fav hike - fun out & back with a river, forest, and ice caves at the end. It's dangerous to go inside or on top of the ice caves though!!

Snoqualmie Falls

Snoqualmie Falls

Snoqualmie, WA 98024

Stunning waterfall 30 min outside of Seattle. There's two lookout points (one at the top and one at the bottom of the waterfall). Option to hike or park and see the lookout points.

Pike Place Market & Seattle Waterfront

Pike Place Market & Seattle Waterfront

Seattle, WA

So much to do in Seattle - great food, coffee, parks (Kerry Park for a viewpoint, Gas Works Park, and Discovery Park for a seaside nature trail), and obviously the Space Needle.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery

14111 Northeast 145th Street, Woodinville, WA 98072

Stunning winery with tours and a tasting room. Located in Woodinville with lots of other cute wineries and great food (top fav being Von's 1000 Spirits).
