When and where is the big “I do”?

October 11th, 2025 - 4pm behind our Vrbo Rental (385 Deep Neck Road, Corolla, NC 27927). Come early enough to grab a seat, admire the view, and maybe get some sand between your toes.

What’s the closest airport?

Answer

Norfolk International Airport (ORF) is about a 2-hour drive from OBX. Cue the playlist and enjoy the ride!

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

Highly recommended — the Outer Banks is gorgeous, but public transportation is… let’s just say “minimal.” Rideshare options can be limited. Unless you're driving your own vehicle silly.

What should I wear?

Answer

Think “beach chic” — dressy but comfortable. The ceremony will be outdoors, so plan for breezes, sand and cooling temps for the Fall Season. Heels + sand = a questionable combo.

What’s the weather like in October?

Answer

October in OBX is lovely! Expect daytime highs in the 70s and cooler evenings in the 60s. Pack layers — you might need sunglasses for the afternoon and a light sweater or wrap for the evening by the water.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking is very limited at the rental and therefore, we will need to utilize public beach parking and hotel parking about 5-7 minutes away. We will shuttle those who are unable to park at the Vrbo rental (more info to come).

Will the reception be indoors?

Answer

The reception will be mostly indoros with options for guest to sit pool side on the balcony of our Vrbo Rental.

Answer

There will be a number of options, the menu is still under development but we will be certain to provide a good variety.
