Back in 2014, it was common to join a Facebook page of your incoming college class. This allowed students to find potential roommates and maybe even join campus with a few built-in friends. That was what Chloe thought when she saw a post from Antonio. He had stated joining Monmouth as a Music Industry major, sharing a department as a potential theater major seemed promising. What started as a message complimenting a silly profile picture with a straw hat turned into constant messaging throughout that summer. It was surprising how natural it was for them to jump into conversation with each other and be able to joke in the most obscure of ways. Chloe loved how willing Antonio was to join in on their wacky bits while still being open to having deeper conversations. Antonio was enamored by how Chloe wouldn't just respond, but wanted a full exploration of a topic, no matter how ridiculous. It was rare to develop a bond with someone you hadn't met, but it became so strong that both snapped selfies at their respective high school graduations, just to be a part of it. Despite an apparent bond and much persistence from Antonio, Chloe hesitated to start a relationship. A couple of previous experiences, ironically, made them question what the intentions were of this goofy but sweet guy. Luckily, Chloe's mom, Carol and long-time best friend, Cassandra, were the first fans of Antonio. Cassandra even served as a double date/chaperone when Chloe finally agreed to meet up with Antonio in person for their first date. It would not be a Chloe experience without them taking the longer, more complicated route, since they would eventually drift apart as they prepare for college. Even when serendipitously, they shared two classes. It took time to reconnect as friends, Antonio continuing to be patient, by the end of the month both would split the difference and sit in the middle row, but together. Soon enough, Chloe introduced Antonio to their group of friends. This introduces one of the final members of the group playfully called the Mullaney Lounge Crew named after the 2nd floor lounge that became a home base. Antonio and Chloe were there for each other through every college experience, which highlights a snow day watch all the Lord of the Rings movies Post-college life held its challenges: unstable employment, family health, ailments, and tragedies. What would be a breaking point for most couples became the cement that showed no storm would topple this couple. Finally, an overthinking Chloe could be confident it wasn't a matter of if but when they marry Antonio. Most gratefully, Antonio found time to ask for her grandfather, Michael Galloway's permission. Before asking, he chuckled and wanted to know what his granddaughter thought. Antonio assured him that this was something Chloe wanted him to do, and Michael assured Antonio he was a good man that he trusted with her, [most likely with an eye roll]. This couple has been fortunate enough to have a connection and years under their belt to realize they are looking for someone to be their companion through life. Chloe has felt a freedom in love to explore their theater career and so much of life with Antonio to lean on and Antonio seems to thrive in his pilot career with her support. Antonio is excited to officially be joined in holy adventuring party, while Chloe will be his co-pilot any time.
