We’re getting married!

Wayyyy back in September of 2019, while Alexis was up living in Boston for graduate school, she received a Facebook friend request from a random guy named Antonio Russo. She didn’t know who he was but she saw they had 200+ mutual friends and he was from Marlboro, NJ the same town she grew up in. At the time of the infamous request, Alexis was in line at Dunkin with her friend Cassie when Cassie told her ‘just add him back, see what happens’, so she did. Not two seconds later, Alexis received a wave 👋 in her Facebook messages, to which she waved back… and the rest is history. The two instantly hit it off, spoke for several months via text, call, & many FaceTimes, before they met in person for the first time Thanksgiving night 2019. And the rest is history ❤️

Antonio asked Alexis to go to dinner, which she was a little suspicious of since they don’t go out to dinner too often. However, when they sat through a whole three course meal she assumed the proposal wasn’t happening… and it didn’t help all throughout the meal Antonio was telling her it wasn’t happening- so mean! After dinner, Antonio suggested the pair take a walk by the water. When the two rounded the corner of the restaurant, she spotted the giant letters ‘MARRY ME’ in the sand with a red carpet set up, along with candles and champagne. Antonio popped the question, Alexis said yes, and out came a photographer who was incognito on the bench and both of their families from around the corner. It was magical, perfect, & a complete surprise! 💍
