We’re Getting Married!

It all began at the library, or so we’ll tell our future kids. Antonio was there, deep in thought, reading the Bible, when he looked up and saw his 'Ruth' across the room. (Spoiler: we actually met on Hinge, but doesn’t the library story sound so much more romantic?) The truth is, we both had one finger hovering over the “delete app” button when Antonio came across Adrienne’s profile and couldn’t resist hitting that super like because of her breathtaking beauty. After a week of non-stop text conversations, Antonio asked Adrienne out on a date. But on the big day, disaster struck: Adrienne got a stomach ache so bad she couldn’t make it. Antonio was already at the restaurant when Adrienne called to cancel. While she was apologizing, she heard Antonio’s deep, soothing voice and thought, Oh no, I have to meet this man. A week later, we finally met in person, and by the third or fourth date, it was clear this was the real deal. A few months in, life threw us a curveball when Adrienne’s job relocated her to South Carolina. But love knows no distance. Every weekend, we took turns driving four hours to see each other, and in between, we were inseparable thanks to FaceTime. From morning “good mornings” to falling asleep on video calls, we made the miles between us disappear. After six months, Adrienne moved back to North Carolina, and life became even sweeter. One unforgettable weekend, surrounded by family, Antonio got down on one knee and made it official. Adrienne said yes, and now here we are, ready to start our next chapter together, library story and all.
