What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm on September 6th. You can start arriving at 5:00 pm!

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

For the safety of all our guest, we are recommending to everyone that masks be worn during our event. The policy at the Westin is as follows: - Outdoors, masks are not required but highly encouraged if social distancing cannot be achieved. - Indoors, mask are required to be worn by guests unless social distancing can be achieved, and except for when eating or drinking.

What precautions are we taking to reduce the spread of COVID-19?

Here are the precautions that we are taking for the safety of our guests: - We will be providing masks and hand sanitizers for any guests who need it. - We will try our bests to keep family units/households together for seating plan. - We will be implementing a wrist band system for individuals to identify their comfort level of people approaching them

What precautions is the Westin Savannah Harbor taking to reduce the spread of COVID-19?

Answer

- Hotel staff will have temperature checks when coming in for shifts and will wear gloves and masks for their entire shift. Hotel staff have been educated on proper hygiene and sanitizing protocols implemented by the corporate management at the Westin. - All vendors for an event are required to wear a mask or face covering. Vendors will also have their temperatures checked. - Our event spaces are sanitized before and after each event. Social distancing signs, mask requirement signs, and ample hand sanitizer stations will be set up throughout the duration of the event. - The bar will have markers on the floor indicating 6ft of space for forming lines. Bartenders will not accept used glasses from guests, a new glass will be sued for each drink poured. - Anything that is considered communal on the table will not be preset on tables and only given to guests upon request. Communal items can include things such as salt/pepper shakers, dressing boats, and bread baskets.
