We’re getting Married

We first met in high school, though our story began even earlier—we had crossed paths in middle school without knowing what the future held. Back then, Tom would kindly give me rides to a friend’s house, always quiet and a little shy around me. Life moved forward, and though we saw each other occasionally at events over the years, we remained nothing more than familiar faces. Then, at 44, everything changed. Through the help of our Goddaughter, Tom found me again on Facebook. By that time, I was already divorced, and life had shaped us both in ways we never expected. When we reconnected, something undeniable was there—something that time had only strengthened. Since then, we’ve found our way back to each other. And now, after all the years, the distance, and the “crazy circles” life took us through, we’ve realized one simple truth: We were never meant to be apart.
