Where can we go before the reception starts?

Answer

Oh my lanta, there are so many restaurants, bars, and little cozy corners you can find in Oak Brook before our cocktail hour begins at 5:00 p.m. But, be sure to leave room for amazing appetizers, dinner and dessert! A few of our favorites: For a chic & delicious drink | Lucca Osteria & Bar (1415 W 22nd St. | Free Valet) For a quick game of mini golf | Puttshack ( 1828 Oakbrook Center) (I beat Steve at mini golf here once, it was awesome) For a beautiful rooftop experience | RH Rooftop @ Restoration Hardware (1300 W 22nd St.) For a beer and maybe a college football game | Old Town Pour House (8 Oakbrook Center)

Are my children that you guys love allowed to come to the reception?

Answer

We do love your children! But, sadly the room is cozy and comfortable with the amount of adults we have invited. Your children will have to skip our event this time, but we know they'll have a great time with their grandparents or sitters!

What should I wear to the reception?

Answer

Dress your best! We'd like our event to be semi-formal or formal. Please no jeans. We love your jeans, but it's not the vibe!

What is the parking situation at Gibson's?

Answer

Gibson's valets all the vehicles for the restaurant as a complimentary service. So, if you're driving to the reception you won't have to worry about finding a parking spot! And if you're staying in Oak Brook for the night, consider taking an Uber so you can have a few drinks!
