This is a direct flight that goes from the Philadelphia International Airport to Napoli Capodichino Airport. This new route was introduced a few years ago by American Airlines. We and our families have consistently taken this flight to and from Napoli since it has been available. There is also a direct return flight route, AA 781.
Rental Car
We recommend renting a car during your stay in Napoli, due to Uber, Lyft, and taxis not having a presence in the area of Bacoli. There are a variety of car rental companies at the airport. We recommend booking through Hertz, as they have the widest range of options in terms of vehicles. When booking, make sure to select the correct transmission, as most car rentals are manual. Also, avoid renting an electric vehicle as there are no electric vehicle chargers in the Bacoli area.

This is the closest hotel to the wedding venue and our top recommendation for your stay in Bacoli. It is located just down the street from Villa Scalera, which is where the reception will be held. A few steps away from the "Villa" (downtown area) and the beach, with an unbeatable view of the water.

There are a variety of options to pick from via Airbnb and Vrbo. If you prefer to go this route, we recommend staying in the town of Bacoli! Monte di Procida is another town very close to Bacoli that offers amazing views of the area, but be mindful that this town is at the top of a small mountain. You will need a car if staying here.

There are a number of ferries that run between the local Bacoli/Monte di Procida area, Procida Island, and Ischia Island. The most popular ferries are the Ippocampo and Capitan Morgan, both of which run daily at about €5-€15 per person round trip. The local pickup points for these ferries are Acquamorta in Monte di Procida, Baia in Bacoli, and Torregaveta in Bacoli. If you'd like to bring your car with you, there is the Medmar ferry that runs daily from Pozzuoli to Ischia island.
