Anton and Patrick have been friends since elementary school. He was one of the first of Anton's friends that Ellena got to meet when they first started dating in 2013. Ellena and Patrick immediately hit it off and his personality and love for the couple made him the perfect choice for the Officiant. Anton and Ellena had planned to "pop the question" to Patrick, but he beat them to the punch when they were on a trip together on the East Coast in October of 2019.
Lauren Ciarlo
Maid of Honor
Ellena and Lauren met front row at a concert on the streets of San Francisco in 2009. They have been inseparable ever since, even through all of the life changes and moves over the years. Lauren married her husband Joe in a very intimate setting at their family home in 2017. Ellena was Lauren's Maid of Honor, and it was only fitting for her to return the favor this time around. Lauren is a true joy to be around and she was a tremendous help with all of the little details on the big day!
Brian Bordagaray
Best Man
Anton and Brian have been best friends since playing baseball together at Edison High School and later on at Fresno City College. They share a love of baseball, golf and all things sports. Brian is usually the most entertaining person in the room and can always make you crack a smile or let out a belly laugh. Anton was Brian's best man at his wedding in 2018 and he was honored to stand by Anton's side this summer.
Kimberly Bordagaray
Bride's Support System
Ellena and Kimberly met through their significant others (Anton and Brian) and have become very close friends over the years. They have a shared love of yoga, travel and almost-frozen mango white claws. Planning a wedding in less than three weeks can be stressful, and Kimberly was there for Ellena every step of the way. Even when it came to doing manual labor to help get the backyard ready for the nuptials. All we can say is "Kimberly, thank you and we love you so much!"
