A funny encounter on Club Shell’s lot is how we met. We have Sherrice (Reese) and Stinky Boy to thank for our meeting. I got Eric’s number and decided to call him on January 25, 2004. First, I was introduced to “E Money.” After asking what his momma named him, I met Eric. We were total opposites but still had so much in common. We were inseparable, experiencing so many important milestones together. The proposals (Yes, you heard it right, proposals, plural) were the best in our own way. And finally after three tries, he got it right. We became one on September 16, 2006. Our journey as newlyweds turned into parenthood quickly when we were blessed with our beautiful daughter, Makayla, July 4, 2007. Two years later, we were blessed with our handsome son Eric. Words cannot describe the joy they brought to our lives. With our family completed we started a new adventure. The love that we have for each other helps fuel our fight forever. Marrying young and having kids has had its ups and downs, but we have a clearer understanding of life as one and as parents. It has not always been easy, but our love got us to where we are today. With a better understanding of our journey we were finally able to build a solid foundation for our marriage. Today we celebrate the solid foundation we have built together.
