Question

Is there a Wedding Registry?

Answer

Yes. It can be accessed through the website.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, Scotland Run has ample parking

How far is the hotel from the venue?

Answer

According to Google Maps, the Marriott in Glassboro is approximately 10 minutes away from the venue while the Marriott in Deptford is 16-20 minutes away. Please give yourselves at least a 5 minute window to account for traffic.

Are children allowed at the wedding and reception?

Answer

This is an evening event. 18+ years and older. Please arrange appropriate childcare prior to the event.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 5 pm sharp and no late walk-ins will be accepted. Prepare to arrive 15 minutes prior to start of ceremony.

What if I forget to RSVP, can I still come?

Answer

If you do not RSVP, you will NOT be allowed to attend wedding and reception. We need a final head count the month prior to the wedding. You will receive 1 courtesy call as a reminder to RSVP.

What will the weather forecast be on the big day?

Answer

Due to climate change, we cannot be to sure. However; it will be held during the Winter so dress appropriately and bring a jacket of some sort. It will be an evening occasion and may get chilly. Again, dress code is black tie.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony will be outdoors past the garden in the back of the venue. Ushers will direct you to the appropriate location.

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Reception will be indoors upstairs in the ballroom. Cocktail hour will be along the balcony outdoors upstairs near the ballroom. Elevator access is available for those who cannot use the staircase.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Bridal party will take pictures for around an hr. Guests can head upstairs to the balcony for cocktail hour. Elevator access is available for those who cannot use the staircase.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed however; take the time to donate to our organization of choice, do not RSVP, and please let bride/groom know as soon as possible.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The deadline is June 25th. You have the choice to confirm online or mail back the RSVP. Please do not do both. If you mail the RSVP back Do NOT do it on line and vice versa. We will provide the same food choices both on the mailed RSVP and online.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation for meal options and select you and your plus one's meal of choice. A variety of hor d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour as well.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

We will provide a vegetarian and seafood option. Please refer to your invitation and indicate your meal of choice when you RSVP.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Guests and Groomsman will have to provide their own means of transportation. Hotels and venues are fairly close. Guests can drive to the venue, take an Uber, or a Lyft. Wedding is on a Sunday, so you should experience low rates. Bridesmaids will have transportation from the hotel, but will need to make arrangements when leaving the venue.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

NO. Favors will be provided. Centerpieces belong to the venue.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We want to keep the ceremony as intimate as possible. No pictures will be allowed at the ceremony, but feel free to take pictures during the reception.

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Bride and Groom will be accessible for any questions or concerns. We hope to sort out any issues a week prior to the wedding, but we understand that life can get in the way. The bride and groom will NOT be available for contact on the actual wedding day. Please refer to the best man and maid of honor on the day of for any last minute inquiries. Maid of Honor and best man can be found in the wedding party section of this website.
