How I first met Antoine......Hm....... I first met him in 2013 at a birthday party for my co-worker's friend. He was sitting down with a couple of his friends reading and discussing the Bible (Man of God). He came to me all joyful and smiling and then he introduced himself. "Hi, my name is Antoine what's your name?" I told him my name and that it was nice to meet him. He was so shocked that I said "Its nice to meet you" and then he fell on the floor laughing and kicking his legs in the air. The Bros, had to calm him down LOL. Later on that night, he came back to me and said " Brittany, its nice to meet you too". At that moment, I remember telling God. "God, I bet this is the type of man you want to bless me with." I also remember telling God, "I bet he would treat me real...........Good" LOL. However, it never went any further then that. We went our separate ways and never saw each other until I came to Daytona Christian Center in 2014. In 2016, he asked me to meet him at Barnes and Noble because he wanted to talk to me. It was then, that he told me that he liked me and asked me to be his friend which led to courtship and then engagement!!!

One word God said to me regarding of proposing to Brittany: PROCEED. I didn’t even hesitate, so I proceed indeed. The day of the proposal On November 18, 2017, Brittany and I went to Disney broad walk and then went out to get something eat. So we pretty much spend our whole time together in Orlando, which was a simple good time outing. Shhhh.... Yep, Brittany had no clue this day was going to be a special moment just for her; she had no idea her ring was in my backpack just for her; she was completely unaware I was going to “put a ring on it” that day just for her; she did not even know Barnes and Noble was the location I was going to propose just for her. As we were driving back to Daytona, back in my mind I was thinking: “so far the game plan is going smoothly”. I told Brittany we got one more stop before our evening is over: she had an anticipated looked with a smile. The beginning to something great So we got to Barnes and Noble around 10:15 pm and I parked the car. Then, I asked Brittany what is special about this location? She answered “this is where we met that you told me you like me and I told you I like you too” My head was going up and down with a smile in agreement with Brittany. The appetizer Afterwards, I pulled out a booklet that had our courtship journey just for her. We shared a lot good memories and cherish able moments of our journey together. As Brittany was going through the booklet, I told her to not go on the last page. Pop the question So we got out of the car and went along front sidewalk of Barnes and Noble. We were pacing back and forth and I was holding her ring behind my back as I was leading to pop the question. I showed her the last page of the booklet: Which had a pic of us with a meme saying.... As Brittany asked me playfully time to time, but low key serious “When you going to put a ring on it? ” ha...aa Finally, I got down on my knees, and I pop the question will you marry me? “She happily said yes“
