Which airport do I fly in to?

Answer

You will be flying into the Orlando International Airport, the airport code is MCO. MCO is 21 mins from Universal. You may be able to find better rates flying into Sanford FL, the airport code is SFB, it is 45 mins from Universal. These are times if you are driving, If you use a transportation service, the time may be longer. For example, we fly in to MCO all the time and it's at least a 45 min drive with transportation.

When should I book my flight?

Answer

Now is the time to book. There are crazy cheap flights right now. Be sure to check the luggage policy of whichever airline you choose, so that you're not paying extra for luggage.

Question

How much do you have to have to reserve the room?

Answer

You need to put down only a one nights stay to make your reservation. The rest is due when you arrive. Your price is guaranteed at ROYAL PACIFIC, don't forget to say it's for the LOPEZ/WHEELER wedding. **Endless Summer Resort Dockside is cheaper by at least 50 per night. There is no additional discount for this resort, but it is cheaper, and it's still on property and free shuttles from there to the Parks, which is the side our resort is on.**

Is there a shuttle to Loew's ROYAL PACIFIC RESORT from the airport?

Answer

There are no free shuttles. You can look into Mears transportation, they are on the lower level of airport and are always available to take you to your resort. I believe it is $34 roundtrip, per person. There is also Uber & Lyft. Or you could rent a car.

If I don't want to stay at the resort, where else can I look for lodging?

Answer

I posted on the Travel Page alternative hotels and resorts, but feel free to look for hotels near Universal. Your best bet are the ones on International Drive or in the surrounding area of Kissimmee. Also look in to airbnb. www.airbnb.com, they have great options.

What should I wear?

Answer

Whatever you feel comfortable in. It will be a late afternoon, early evening event. It's in April the average high will be 84, and the average lows are 63. The ceremony will be on the beach where there will be a breeze off the water, the cocktail hour will be in air conditioning, and the sun will be gone and the breeze is absolutely beautiful. You may want a light cover up just in case.
