Question

When Should I RSVP?

Answer

If you've received our save-the-date, QR Code or website link you'll notice it directs you to our website for more details. To ensure we have an accurate headcount for the venue and catering, we kindly ask all our guests to RSVP by February 1, 2025. Your prompt response will allow the bride and groom ample time to send out formal invitations with more detailed information about the wedding and reception locations. ONLY THOSE WHO RSVP WILL RECIEVE THIS INFORMATION. Only received an invitation? No need to RSVP we have already included you in our final numbers ;)

What Should I Wear?

Answer

Dress Code for the Wedding: Semi-Formal: For Men: Collared or polo-style shirt with slacks. For Women: Cocktail dress, pantsuit, or blouse with slacks/skirts. Formal Attire: For Men: Suit or tuxedo. For Women: Ball gowns. Please refrain from casual attire, such as jeans, flip-flops, or T-shirts.

What Color Can I Wear?

Answer

The wedding colors are White, Champagne and Gold. Guests can feel free to wear any of those colors.

Are Kids Allowed?

Answer

We are delighted to let you know that children are absolutely welcome at our wedding! We want our entire family to witness and partake in the joy of our union without the stress of finding a babysitter or missing out on our special day. When you received your invitation, you likely noticed that we've included the number of kids in your party. While we embrace the playful energy of little ones, we kindly request that if your child becomes unruly or vocal during the wedding ceremony, you may consider stepping outside or attending the reception only. We will have both audio and video recording of the vows, ensuring that everyone can fully enjoy the moment.

Can I Bring a Plus One?

We appreciate your enthusiasm to celebrate with us! While we would love to accommodate everyone, we have carefully planned for a specific number of guests. Therefore, we kindly request no extra guests. If there is someone you feel should be included and we may have inadvertently missed, please reach out to us directly. We want to ensure everyone important to you is accounted for.

What Happens if I Arrive Late?

Answer

The doors will open for guest arrival at 2:30, and since assigned seats are not our style, feel free to choose any seat on either side of the aisle. To ensure an uninterrupted and serene ceremony, we kindly ask guests to be seated by 3:00 when the ceremony will commence. To minimize background noise and disturbances, the ceremony doors will be locked promptly at 3:00 and will reopen after the ceremony concludes. PLEASE BE ON TIME!

Can I Take Photos or Record the Wedding?

Answer

We are excited to share our special day with you, and we appreciate your enthusiasm to capture these precious moments. We have, however, arranged for a professional photographer who will be capturing the entire wedding and reception. To ensure the best experience for everyone, we kindly request that there be NO FLASH photography or videography and that you remain at your seat during the ceremony. This will help maintain the ambiance we've envisioned for this moment. Rest assured, you will have the opportunity to have the photographer take professional photos of you with the bride and groom during the reception, and we'll make sure to share those with you at a later date.

Can I Post on Social Media?

Answer

Feel free to share the joy and festivities on social media! We'd love for you to capture and post your favorite moments using our wedding hashtag: #HadMeAtHumphrey. This way, we can easily find and enjoy all the wonderful memories you've shared during our honeymoon.

Will There Be Alcohol Served?

Answer

Due to the driving distance and limited visibility on the road for the night drive back, we have decided to make our reception a hard liquor-free event. We will however, offer guests champagne.

Can I Bring My Own Alcohol?

Answer

We are thrilled that you'll be joining us to celebrate our special day! Due to the driving distance and limited visibility on the road for the night drive back, we have decided to make our reception a hard liquor-free event. We kindly ask that guests choosing to bring their own alcohol enjoy RESPONSIBLY! In the interest of everyone's safety, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Should you choose to bring alcohol, please be aware that neither the bride and groom nor the event venue will be held liable for any damage or injury resulting from the consumption of outside alcoholic beverages.
