Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at the Sofitel Philadelphia Hotel at Rittenhouse Square on Saturday, May 27th. All guests may book a room at the Sofitel for the wedding weekend at a contracted block rate that starts at $235 a night. You must call the hotel and mention you are booking in the Riso/Micallef wedding block by April 27, 2023 to book your room. The rooms are added in increments of 20 as long as there are rooms available at the hotel, but price may increase if more rooms need to be added. We recommend you call as soon as possible as this is a popular hotel downtown. We would love for all guests to stay at the Sofitel for ease of access to the events. Sofitel is about a 25 minute car or train ride from the airport. If you take the SEPTA train, you will want to get off at Suburban station, and then you'll only have about a 4 block walk from there.

If you are looking for another hotel option, there are many near the airport at varying prices. Sheraton Suites, Double Tree, and Embassy Suites were all available for under $200 a night at the time of this posting (Jan. 2023). All should be about 25 minutes from the Sofitel.
