Where is the wedding ceremony and reception taking place?

All wedding events will be held at Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum (101 Ferry Road, Bristol, RI). It’s a gorgeous historic estate right on Narragansett Bay - we can't wait to see you there!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there’s a designated parking area right at Blithewold. You can also take a quick rideshare or taxi from nearby hotels in downtown Bristol.

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are plenty of charming inns, boutique hotels, and Airbnb options nearby! We have also reserved room blocks at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites [Swansea, Massachusetts] and the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites [Somerset, Massachusetts]. Check out the "Travel" tab for more information.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but we’re keeping our celebration adults-only so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love for guests to dress in spring cocktail attire — polished but comfortable! Dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates for women; suits or jackets with dress pants for men. Since we’ll be on the lawn for the ceremony (weather permitting), comfortable shoes like wedges, block heels, or flats are best.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors in the gardens overlooking the bay (weather permitting). The reception will take place under a beautiful tent on the mansion grounds, so you’ll still get to enjoy the views and fresh air while staying comfortable all evening.
