When you're young, you're always told that the right person will come along when you least expect it. And we hate to admit when our parents are right, but that's exactly how our story began. When we first met there was no perfect plan or a clear roadmap for what our relationship would become. But from the very beginning, there was something about us that felt special. What started as a simple yet strong connection quickly grew into something deeper. Not because everything was easy, but because we kept choosing each other. Through change, deployments, distance, and every moment that tested us. We learned what it really means to build a relationship not just fall into one. We became partners in every sense of the word. We challenged each other, supported each other, and learned how to stand side by side through both the best moments and the hardest ones. To put it simply, we are each other's best friend. We've made the conscious choice to love each other every day and to always let love win. What we have today wasn’t handed to us, it’s something we built together. Our journey eventually brought us to Hawaii, where we’ve begun creating a life side by side. Finding our rhythm and dreaming about what’s ahead. And now, we get to bring it back to where it all began by getting married in the same city we had our first date: Newport, Rhode Island! Our story isn’t about perfection. It’s about commitment, growth, and choosing each other, every day. As we step into marriage, our hope is simple: to build a life rooted in love, faith, and partnership. And to continue growing into the people we’re meant to be, together.
