We're getting married!

Tee: We met on a Wednesday evening in May while we were heading back from the midweek service. He approached me right after I was done talking with a friend and struck up a conversation. I liked the way he talked and it was an interesting conversation so I saw it through to the end. A: We met after a Wednesday church service, on our way back home. And I moved to her first, glad I did.

Tee: I was intrigued by him specifically because of how good his English is. A: My first impression of her was that she was classy, with a charisma that radiated confidence, though it could easily be mistaken for snobbery. I moved to her regardless; no venture, no gain.

Tee: He had gone out in the evening to attend to something and I fell asleep not having heard from him. When I woke up in the night, I didn’t see any message from him and his number wasn’t reachable. I panicked so hard cause I was worried that something had happened to him. I’m the same way when I can’t reach any of my loved ones so when I reacted that way, I just knew I was in for it. A: That was when I spent the day before our first date searching for the perfect spot. I had a few places in mind, but after visiting them, none felt right, until I checked out one last place, which turned out to be just perfect.

Tee: ⁠I love you, even when you’re cranky and quiet because you’re burnt out. A: I love you, even when we don’t see eye to eye, even in the quiet moments, even when life feels heavy. Because no matter how chaotic it gets, there’s no one else I’d rather face it with than you.
