We can expect (and hope for) 70s and sunny in Greenville in the summer. The crew of the Katahdin has great judgment and will decide if the conditions are too bad to leave the dock. Rain or shine, we will have a great party on the historic boat!
Semi-formal! Sundresses and dress pants are perfect and, as a reminder, stiletto high heels are not allowed on the boat in order to preserve the antique wood and keep everyone safe!
Yes! We would love if your whole family can attend. please note in your RSVP how many from your family will be attending. Also note that children under 10 are required to wear some sort of floatation vest/life jacket while on the boat.
Unfortunately no, The Katahdin staff will be quite upset with us, and that might not be the safest choice. However, there are plenty of other great locations in Greenville to swim in Moosehead Lake
Please see the travel tab of the website for this information.
The conditions on the Lake are usually quite glassy and I would not worry about feeling sick. We will have some patches on hand just in case.

Please see the "Things to do" tab. There will be a few hours in between the ceremony and the reception so please explore Greenville, take a nap, put your dancing shoes on, have an oyster, jump in the lake, or whatever suites your fancy. Cocktails begin on the Katahdin at 6:00pm. Just do not miss the boat departure at 7:00pm!
No, but we promise you will have a blast anyway!
We are unsure of his schedule, but he is invited!
No, we do not plan on making anyone walk the plank :)
The boat will only return to the pier at 10:00pm unless there is an emergency.
There will be an open bar...drink to the foam!
At the risk of being incredibly cheesy, yes.
