FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask everyone RSVP to Rachel at (309)642-1819 through text or call by August 4th to ensure there are enough chairs, food, drinks and cupcakes to go around.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would appreciate all guests to wear their nicest formal attire. This includes button down shirts and slacks for men and dresses, skirts and blouses for women.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This an adult affair with alcohol and would be appreciated if no children were brought, to ensure every guest (including those who have littles at home) to have a relaxing evening.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Each adult guest is allowed a plus one. When you RSVP please include the number of total guests you plan on bringing.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

You may park on the side of the road our house is on, as we live in a quite small neighborhood. To maximize space we ask for those who can, please car pool. We also ask that no one park in the driveway to ensure Anthony, Rachel, vendors and the bridal party have space to get in and out of vehicles. But you are welcome to park in front of the house on the street. Thank you for your patience.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There will be many food options at the reception to suit all food pallets and diets. As well as gluten free cupcakes if you prefer over the regular.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 5:30-5:50pm to ensure all guests get seated before the ceremony starts at 6:00pm. If you need more time than 20 min to arrive and take a seat you may arrive earlier. If you accidentally arrive after 6:00pm please wait on the front porch until you hear the ceremony is over as there will be a professional photographer and you wouldn’t want to interrupt any photos or an intimate time.

Question

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask ALL guests including close relatives to silence and keep phones away. It is an unplugged ceremony and would be greatly appreciated no one holds up a phone while our professional photographer tries to get pictures of the intimate time. We ask you to keep the phones away until Anthony and Rachel retrieve down the aisle when the ceremony is over.

For all the days along the way
