FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you please RSVP by February 28. Thank you so much—we truly appreciate it.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family. Due to the intimate nature of our wedding, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests. We truly appreciate your understanding and are so grateful for your love and support.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

While the bride and groom will be staying at a private location in Kansas City, we recommend booking accommodations within the Kansas City metropolitan area. Great nearby options include Overland Park, Downtown Kansas City, and the Country Club Plaza—all within a 15–20 minute drive of the ceremony and reception venue. A variety of hotels and short-term rentals are available in these areas, and if you’re traveling with family, Airbnb and similar accommodations may be a great way to stay together and enjoy the weekend.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Guests will need to park at the Matt Ross Center (half block) or Thompson Park (1 block) away. Both are free.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Please plan to arrive by 4:30–4:45 PM.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses — dress sharp, feel confident.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Adults only — thank you for understanding.
