Parents of the Bride
Wedding planning extraordinares, the world's best Papa and Nani, and the reasons we are going to have an EPIC WEEKEND.
Mother of the Groom
Might be the most excited for the wedding, at least if shopping is any indication! Get ready to see her serve some looks and have a great time.
Brother and SIL of Bride
Our reception MC and my awesome sister in law. After over a decade, I am no longer their 3rd wheel! But now it's more Anthony and I both going to their house to play with Ayan. I am so grateful that we all live in Austin! It has been a blast, and obviously shoutout to them for having the cutest baby in the world. Now that he is actual dad, the jokes have gotten out of the control, so Katie is on editing duty for all our sakes.
Ring Bearer
The cutest baby in the world...objectively. Our nephew and such a bright light in our lives. We can't wait to see him walking down the aisle with us! His parents will also be there ;)
Maid of Honor
I met Jessie at Texas Tech orientation weekend because both of us were too scared to stay in the dorm rooms alone. We did pretty much everything together in college and after 12 years, we still stay up late on the phone every week discussing the latest episode of Love is Blind. She probably has a Taylor Swift based playlist for every event.
Matron of Honor
Peyton and I met in the OR during 3rd year, bonding over the fact that we definitely didn't belong there. We've never met a happy hour we didn't like and she's never met a dog she didn't pet (and attempt to steal). Being her bridesmaid is one of my favorite memories and I am so glad to have her by my side.
Matron of Honor
Technically met through her husband Andrew, but we are the true soulmates. From bonfires to being my entire covid bubble, Katherine was the best med school survival friend. She is super mom to my favorite boys and a true connoiseur of pies. We all just forgive her for teaching us what "wave the wheat" means.
Bridesmaid
My day one ride or die. My big sister and the person I used to dream about our weddings with. I can't imagine walking down the aisle without Shivani by my side and it makes it even more special to have her little ones with us on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Say less squad member. My Amarillo roommate on my many visits. The queen of very elaborate acronyms that helped us all pass hemonc. Bella is one of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever known, and she was always down for a new adventure (after I tricked her of course).
Bridesmaid
Say Less squad. We took every single class together in college and somehow never really talked until medical school. But I am grateful for every study session, even when they were mostly shopping breaks. And I was always in awe when she would drink an entire pot of coffee and then announce she was going to sleep. I know she is crushing fellowship and I'm so grateful she is taking off time to be here with me!
Bridesmaid
Say less squad! Literally sunshine personified in human form. If you go anywhere with Stacy, be prepared for it to take a while, and to make 7 new friends on the journey. She is a relentlessly positive person who also loves a bit of tea ;). Can't wait for her to bring party Stacy to the wedding festivities!
Bridesmaid
Say less squad member. Fatima is always a good time, as long as you remember to bring the lactaid. I set her up with her husband, so I get all time bragging rights. But she has been such a constant friend through the ups and downs of dating before we both found our guys at basically the same time!
Bridesmaid
The final Say Less squad member. Rumored to be the original love of my life. Angela is my bollywood bestie and by far the best dancer of our group. I can always count on her for the best conversations, and probably some good gossip. I miss our movie nights, dessert runs and late night car hangs so much, but I know the kids in California need her (for now). Shoutout to her in advance for her choreo.
Bridesmaid
Melanie and I went to school together from elementary school. One time in middle school, we went to the movies... and then we drifted apart. Only to rekindle our friendship, after high school graduation. Now it's mostly fancy dinners and vacations, but 10 years later we are still weirdos. She mostly yells at me to listen to watch the new Kelly Clarkson youtube, and if I don't just re-enacts it for me, but her palate has expanded past mall pizza, so I take the wins I can get. It is so special to have her on this journey with me, as someone who's been here for all phases of life, we still ended up back in Austin together. And now at my wedding!
Bridesmaid
If it weren't for the obvious differences, I would argue that Melissa and I were separated at birth. From day 1 of residency, we were partners in crime. Literally, we got in trouble for having too much fun. We laughed, we cried, we drank plenty of wine, and in the end she left me to move to New Jersey. But I can't wait for our reunion!!!
Bridesmaid
My baby cousin, who is definitely not a baby anymore and somehow has grown up to be cooler than the rest of us. She is hilarious, extremely fashionable, beautiful and will definitely make the rest of us look bad on the dance floor. It is surreal and very special to have her as part of my bridal party.
Groomsman
You find the best of friends in the strangest places. In this case, college station. He's had my back through the years and I know he will bring the party to my wedding.
Groomsman
I met Efti when he was just a kid of my downstairs neighbor. Now that little kid is my brother for life.
Groomsman
He has always treated me like his brother, is always there for me and has always been a role model for me to look up to.
Groomsman
Whether it was getting into trouble or celebrating big events, there was never a dull moment with him around.
Groomsman
Growing up, he wasn't just my cousin, he was my built in best friend. From family events and countless adventures, we've been through it all.
Best Man
I met Sami through Natasha, but it was clear from Day 1 that he and I are the real soulmates.
Groomsman
We have been friends since class in college station, and bonded over our love of cars and northgate.
