Let's rewind 3 years! It's 2017 and Anthony and I get partnered up to be co-teachers for our church's kid service. That's where our friendship started. We honestly bonded over laughing at the kids majority of the time haha. Later that year, I decided to pack my things and go on a mission trip to Puebla, Mexico. [Warning: this is your typical mission trip love story BUT it's still special hahaha] A few weeks before the trip, the group was still needing one more guy and I casually brought it up to Anthony, secretly hoping he'd want to join. At that point, I thought he was suuuuper fun to be around and his looks were just an added bonus hehe. He chose to go & we flew to Mexico along with 9 other people! Neither of us were looking to be in a relationship at the time as we were both going through our different life things and were excited to simply venture with God in Mexico. [Oh also, everyoneeeee was telling us that we were going to come back in love but we were so certain that we were just friends so it didn't faze us] Long story long, we went on an 8 hour hike with the group out there and I'm pretty sure cupid went on that hike too because we came down the mountain IN LOVE. I know, I know. How can you fall in love over the course of a few hours. But fr, we did. Ask God! We both go back to that very moment we shared on top of the mountain in Mexico when we think about the first time we realized we wanted to love each other forever. & Now we get to celebrate forever with all of you!
