Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:30pm as doors will close our ceremony will start at 5pm. If you arrive later than stated you will sadly miss the ceremony and we will meet you at the reception afterwards. We request that you get to the hotel by 4:15pm to provide enough time to find the garden where the ceremony will be held. Please pick a seat, not a side as we will be united into one family.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are kindly requesting you to RSVP by April 30th. Anyone who has not sent in their RSVP by June 1st will be considered a no and will no longer be invited. Please do not come if you have not RSVP yes as there will not be seating or food available to you.

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "will not attend" so we can plan accordingly, thank you!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

If you are on our website on a computer it will be on the top right side next to our FAQ tab. If you are on your phone, you will see three lines that you will need to click. Once you have clicked the three lines a list of options will pop up. At the bottom of the list click on RSVP. No matter if you are on a computer or phone it will have two options for you to choose, "will attend" or "will not attend" and submit it so the website will notify us.

Can I bring a Guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding, and please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Although we love your kids we are having a child-free night. We will have everyone's names who are invited on the invitations, please refer to those to know who can attend. We thank you in advanced for your understanding. Please reach out to us directly if you have any questions or to discuss further.

Is there a theme?

As you can see on our save the dates, invites, and website our theme is floral pastels. Please dress accordingly to help enhance the experience.

What attire should I wear?

Leave the black suits and dresses at home, it's a pastel party! Please wear your favorite shade of pastel. Pinks, lavenders, yellows, we want to see it all! Ladies please be mindful that we will be outside on grass, although there will be a dance floor, choose shoes/heels accordingly.

Where should I stay?

We are making it super easy as our venue is also a hotel! The Handlery Hotel is located at 950 Hotel Cir N, San Diego, CA 92108. Please call the hotel directly and give our names to get a discounted rate of $219 a night when booking (619)-298-0511 . You can only get the discounted rate when calling directly and giving our names, please do not book online as the rate will not be the same.

Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love and appreciate you wanting to capture our special moment, we are requesting phones be put away for an unplugged ceremony. This will allow all our guests to be present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographers and videographers will be there to capture all the precious moments that we will happily share with you afterwards. Thank you so much for your cooperation and understanding.

Where should I park?

The Handlery Hotel has a big parking lot at the front of the building. You will get a discounted rate when parking of $10 for the night or $24 for overnight parking.

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

We will have alcohol available! We will have one hour of open bar and the rest of the night will be cash bar. Don't worry, they take credit cards too!
