Travel Note
For those of you flying to join us for our big day, Chicago has two accessible airports - Midway & O'Hare. From both, you can take a taxi, Uber/Lyft, or public transit - the "L". Google and Apple Maps will help with taking the "L" Orange Line (from Midway) or the Blue Line (from O'Hare) into the city - it will tell you exactly which stop to get on/off at! The "L" will be the most cost friendly option at $2.50.
Hotel
We were able to secure a hotel block at Hotel Felix! The rate is $379 + tax per night. Rooms and rate available through April 1, 2023. Due to a large conference in the city the same weekend as the wedding & the high demand for hotels, Hotel Felix is requiring payments due at the time of booking and payments are non-refundable. Follow the link below to book a room:
Travel Note
Due to a large conference in the city the same weekend as the wedding, we were only able to secure one block. To allow for an additional option, we were able to book a handful of individual rooms at: La Quinta by Wyndham Chicago Downtown (King Bed, $296.24/night including tax) La Quinta by Wyndham Chicago Downtown (Double Queen Bed, $313.85/night including tax) If you would prefer the option above over the room block, please reach out to us and we can transfer a room into your name. If you are unable to get a room in the block or from us, individual rooms should be available at hotels throughout the city. Our recommendation would be to book as soon as possible! The Westin River North, Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago-Downtown, Springhill Suites Chicago Downtown/River North, or Residence Inn Chicago Downtown/River North are all great options and close to the venue, but really any downtown hotel would work perfectly!
Travel Note
Renting an Airbnb or VRBO may be a great option for larger families or those looking to stay in Chicago a bit longer! We recommend looking in the River North area, as that is the neighborhood closest to the venue, but please reach out to us if you need recommendations for other locations in the city.
Travel Note
Getting around the city is pretty easy! A lot of the city is super walkable, but Uber/Lyft, Divvy Bikes, and Public Transit (the "L" or the bus) are also super easy & affordable. For public transit, Google or Apple maps will list the bus numbers, train colors and on/off stops once you enter your destination.
