We’re ELOPING!

We don't have a crazy love story, but we are crazy in love! In case you didn't already know... we met through an online dating app. So yep, we’re a #WESWIPEDRIGHT couple & we have no shame :) It can definitely work if you're on there for the right reasons! We're so thankful for the app, for swiping right, and for God's perfect timing! I truly believe God lead us to each other. He definitely knew what he was doing.

When Tony first asked me out on a date, of course I said yes! Our first date was dinner at Brick House Tavern and then "dancing" after. Now dancing in New Orleans and dancing in San Antonio are totally different. When he said dancing, I'm thinking a bar/club after dinner? He then proceeds to tell me to wear my boots. PAUSE... my what? I had no idea what he was talking about. It was late July & about 105 degrees outside - so why did I need to wear boots? After a funny conversation, he talked me into wearing my fall/winter ankle booties. After an amazing dinner, we went to a country dance hall, where I realized why I needed boots. Dancing in New Orleans and dancing in San Antonio are two totally different things. We two stepped all night. And dancing with him quickly became one of my favorite things to do!

Mardi Gras has always been my favorite holiday. My first one was when I was 4 months old and I have never missed one since! I was so excited to bring Tony to his first Mardi Gras and he just didn't understand the hype. After his first parade, he quickly fell in love with it and Mardi Gras became his favorite holiday as well! (We have absolutely hilarious stories from his first Mardi Gras that I will have to fill y'all in on at another time - so please don't forget to ask me!) He got down on one knee, I screamed yes, & boom we're engaged!
