The couple met while attending Pace University. Ironically, they had a class freshman year (2014) together and actually sat in the same vicinity, however, they did not interact much. It was not until 3 years later, in the Spring Semester of 2017, that fate took its course. They were both enrolled in the same Criminal Justice course, which they both needed for their respective Major and Minor. Early into that course, they were placed in a group project together. It was through this project that they began to talk. The rest was history.

Three days before Anthony's birthday, the couple made their way into New York City for a "birthday dinner." Anthony had devised an elaborate plan to get Kymberly into the city an hour before their dinner reservations so that he could propose. They arrived on the East side of Central Park, where Anthony said he found a nice path to walk to the restaurant, Tavern on the Green. Little did Kymberly know, that down a small dirt path, Anthony had a surprise photographer and a decorated gazebo with the words "Will you marry me?" waiting. It was an obvious and emotional yes for Kymberly. The two captured the moment before making their way to their reservations to celebrate their engagement dinner. Waiting for them were flowers and champagne sent by their parents as they enjoyed their first meal together as an engaged couple. See you in the Catskills!
