For a high-energy day trip, head 45 minutes "up-Cape" to P-town! We love walking the length of Commercial Street for the best people-watching, eclectic shops, and art galleries. For the best views on the Cape, be sure to visit the Pilgrim Monument and climb the tower, or stop by the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) to see why this town has been a famous artist colony for over a century
Chatham
Check out the Chatham Lighthouse for iconic photos, or head to the Fish Pier around mid-afternoon to see the seals. If you’re looking to shop, Main Street has everything from the Candy Manor to local bookstores.
Harwich Port
For some fresh air, jump on the Cape Cod Rail Trail for a scenic bike ride or walk with views of local cranberry bogs and ponds. Afterward, head to Main Street to browse the local shops or grab a scoop at the legendary Sundae School Ice Cream—it’s a total local staple and one of our favorite spots.
