Chuk was one of the first friends I had in Revere Middle School. A mutual friend introduced us and we ended up having a lot in common. About 3 months apart, we both were skipped up a grade early and were always the youngest people in our circles. We kept in touch over the years as we went to different colleges and discovered a new mutual ideology: entrepreneurship. Chuk has known both Judi and I since the early stages of our relationship.

Met this gem during undergrad in Geology class and was wowed by her presence. After finding out we were both African and seventh-day Adventist, we were a match made in heaven and friends ever since.

We met at Revere Middle School when we would ride the bus together. While we are only a few days apart in age, we were separated by a grade. As kids, we had fun and made remixes to songs we would hear on The Box (see: "Hot Boyz Remix" aka "Hot Food" feat. Iced-T). Similar to Chuk, we kept in touch over the years and share a love for entrepreneurship. Canice has been pivotal in my life as a friend of the family, fellow entrepreneur, and overall good person tro know.

Another fellow Revere classmate, me and John had fun as children. However, our relationship grew closer when we all came back to Houston after undergrad. We would talk at length about books and philosophies we were discovering. His contribution to my life has been immense in many ways and has helped not just me, but Judi. Really excited to have another bond between us.

Tone Tone! Me and Antonio have had a great relationship since our introduction at Booker T. High School/High School for Engineering Professions. Initially a friend of his older cousin, Desmond Fournier, I've seen Antonio grow from a teenager to a young and successful man. Antonio is one person that is hard to have a bad time around, he inadvertently taught me the power of vulnerability. He's been a friend of the family for a while as I am to his family. I'm excited to have him join me on the lifelong journey of marriage.

Bennett is one of the first people I met at Texas A&M University. A fellow Engineering major, we got even closer when he became line brothers with another great friend and roommate, Jared Robey. Whether I was teaching him the basics of NBA 2k or we were critiquing music, we have so much in common that has made our relationship after school easy. As a Father and Husband, I've always admired Bennett's ability to be patient and reserved even in the midst of minor temptations. I'm excited to have Bennett as a brother for life.

We met while he was a volunteer for the campus tours for Texas A&M and I was a high school senior at the time. While he may not remember this encounter, it sums him up vividly: a person who gives and doesn't expect anything in return. A friend of the family, we've grown closer over the years as we've discussed family, sports, and music. A fellow competitor, we have a mutual respect for each other because he knows I take it easy on him and his old bones 😂. Thank you for joining me in the next chapter of my life brother!
