Our Story
How We Met
We met in March of 2016, Anthony was 17 and I was 18. We were both working our first job. (Skechers thx Kevin 🤣) It was there that we met and became friends. We would talk between stocking and assisting customers and one day I offered Anthony a ride home which started our many late night talks about our lives and before I knew it we were something more.
Proposal
We were engaged on September 3rd 2023. Anthony had convinced me into going to Zion to spend a day hiking in celebration of our new home. But little did I know of Anthony’s plan. We hiked the canyon look out and when he set his tripod up for us to take a few pictures; I began to think could this be it. But no, we took our pictures then continued our hiking; me a little disappointed. Anthony had decided we would do the narrows hike and as I knew it was a beautiful sight I thought of yes this could be it this time. But when we were about to start that hike it began to pour and flood the canyon. We rushed back down the mountain to our car soaked and I thought well no ring but it was a great day. But then the sun came back out and Anthony called me down to a boulder and said he wanted to take one more picture. This time I didn’t think anything of it and then as I smiled at the camera, the love of my life kneeled before me and asked me to be his wife. Obviously I said YES!
