Ivonne and Anthony decided to go on their very first date on August 8, 2014. Anthony invited Ivonne to the 'Cheesecake Factory.' As their date continued, they began to joke and laugh. It felt natural like they have been friends for years. One year later, Anthony decided to give Ivonne a ring. He asked her to promise to be committed to him just as he is to her. Ivonne happily promised and wore that ring every single day, until... October 31st, 2019. Yes, Halloween! Both of their favorite holiday. Anthony surprised Ivonne with an unexpected trip to California. In California, Anthony asked Ivonne if she would like to go on a road trip to "Reno." Ivonne was onboard with the idea. On "their way" to Reno, Anthony asked Ivonne to step out of the car for a quick break. Ivonne stepped out of the car and heard a loud noise coming from the forest. They began to walk towards the noise. Soon Ivonne found out where it was coming from. A beautiful, natural, breath-taking waterfall. Ivonne has been in love with natural waterfalls since she was a little girl and dreamt of seeing one in person for years. She was so happy and showed so much excitement. Anthony escorted her down to the rocks to get a better view. Anthony grabbed her hand. Ivonne's heart started to race. She knew what was about to happen. Ivonne was so happy her smile was the biggest he had ever seen. Anthony dropped down on one knee and pulled out a blue geode rock. He opened it, and inside was a big, beautiful, princess-cut diamond ring. Ivonne was overcome with emotion and began to cry with pure happiness. Anthony asked her the question every woman loves to hear, "Will you marry me?" "YES!" Ivonne couldn't have said it any faster. She removed her promise ring and replaced it with her new engagement ring. Ivonne has been wearing her engagement ring for almost two years now, but it's time to add another ring into her collection. A ring that will represent a new chapter of their lives on October 22, 2021.
