We met in high school through mutual friends and hit it off right away. Often sharing the car ride home from school, baking our favorite desserts, and showing each other new music. However, starting college and future plans kept us friends. Fast forward a couple of years, we reconnected only to quickly realized we meant more to each other than just friends. It’s hard to say when we ‘’first met” because after passing a neighborhood Ivana’s daycare once was, we soon found out Anthony’s Mother was the one who used to babysit us as children, so it seems the universe has always kept us together.

It’s a story as simple and easy as our love for each other. It was a spring afternoon, when we both decided to sit on the porch and watch the sunset glow through a light drizzle. It’s difficult to put into words, but in that moment, all we could talk about was relish in how beautiful of a life we’ve created together. And just like that, the question Anthony had been trying to find the right time to ask came out effortlessly. Despite all the ways we had weaved our lives together by then, it was so surreal to share a moment of recognition that our story would undoubtedly be forever. It was so warm and organic, that it was the perfect reflection of us, and now we cannot wait to celebrate it with you all.
