When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by June 1, 2022, so we can have an accurate headcount.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation specifies "and guest", please feel free to bring a date! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you do not.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Up to you! We love your kids, and you're welcome to bring them. However, we also understand if you want a night off. Just note your decision when you RSVP, so we can plan accordingly.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Welcome to Vermont! The weather here is unpredictable. During the day, the weather should be beautiful and balmy (fingers crossed), but it might get chilly at night. Be sure to bring some warm layers for the evening just in case.

Is there transportation being provided between the ceremony/reception and hotels?

Answer

Yes - we plan to run shuttles between Jay Peak and Windy River Farm. If you're going to be staying at Jay Peak and think you may have a few adult beverages over the course of the evening, we encourage you to take advantage of this. Your safety is our priority! You can check out our "Travel" tab for more details when they become available.

Where should I park?

Answer

You can either park at Jay Peak and take the shuttle to the ceremony, or you can park at Windy River Farm. If you choose the latter option, someone will be there directing you where to park your vehicle.

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal/ cocktail attire, please! No jeans, sneakers, shorts, etc. please.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

Ladies - we would advise against wearing heels that will sink into the ground. There are several grassy/dirt areas that you will have to walk in so we suggest wearing chunky heels or sandals.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entire wedding will be hosted at Windy River Farm. The ceremony will be outdoors, the cocktail hour will be in an indoor-outdoor space, and the reception will be hosted in the main barn.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

You are welcome to take photos, but please refrain from doing so during the ceremony. We hired a photographer who is really great at her job!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30 PM. Please arrive by 4:00 PM to allow time to park and be seated.

What time will the reception end?

Answer

All guests have to depart from the Barn by 11:00, but the night doesn't end there! Our after-party will be at Jay Peak - more details forthcoming.
