Where do I park at the museum?

Answer

Parking for the evening will be complimentary for all guests in the museum’s parking garage. When navigating, please route to 5880 Caroline St, Houston, TX 77004, which will take you directly to the garage entrance. From there, allow a few extra minutes to walk from the garage to the museum and into the Morian Hall of Paleontology where the festivities will begin.

When should I arrive?

Wedding festivities will begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Please allow yourself a little extra time to park, walk from the garage, and make your way to the Morian Hall of Paleontology within the museum. We recommend arriving a bit early so you can settle in and enjoy the start of the evening with us.

How do I get to the Morian Hall of Paleontology?

Answer

Starting from the main museum entrance at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, walk straight into the large central atrium known as Grand Hall. Once inside the Grand Hall, continue walking forward past the central displays and information areas. Stay toward the middle of the hall and follow the signs directing you toward the Morian Hall of Paleontology.

Will there be a ceremony?

We’ve chosen to skip a traditional ceremony and instead celebrate the evening together from the start. Please arrive hungry and ready for a night of great food, drinks, and exploring the museum—consider it a celebration that begins the moment you walk in.

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have chosen to keep our celebration primarily an adults-only event. Only children from our immediate families will be in attendance. We hope this allows everyone else to relax, celebrate, and enjoy a special evening with us.

Please refer to the Attire tab on our website for full details on the dress code. The requested style is formal, creative black tie, with attire such as suits and floor-length dresses encouraged. We invite guests to embrace the elegance of the occasion and have fun with their interpretation of formal wear.

Can I bring a red envelope or a card?

Answer

We understand that not everyone uses Venmo for electronic gift giving. For those who prefer a more traditional option, red envelopes are warmly welcomed. There will be a designated spot at the reception dinner where you can place them.
