Anthony and Erika met when Erika first began working at Quail Valley Golf Club. Anthony had just returned to Vero from the University of Tennessee to pursue professional golf full-time. What started as talking, playing miniature golf, and sharing popsicles on the putting greens those first few months, became a four year adventure. Anthony and Erika enjoyed taking family trips and traveling to places like Casa De Campo in the DR, Payne’s Valley in Missouri (Anthony almost got a hole-in-one!), fly fishing in Big Sky Montana, Sunset Island in Key West, and sipping wine in Napa Valley. Between the summer travels, Anthony pursued his golf career, working to get on tour while Erika started teaching elementary Math and Science. They got their first house and moved in to become a happy family of five (three being on four legs: Looper, Blitzen, and Rudolph). They learned and grew together, made changes professionally, worked through life’s ups and downs together, and went on MANY Disney trips together! All the while falling more and more in love. They can't wait to start this next chapter of their adventure together. On October 19th, 2024, almost exactly four years later, Anthony surprised Erika by proposing to her at the spot where it all started. He took Erika to the greens and asked if he would spend the rest of her life with him. After he got down on one knee and she said yes, their friends and family surprised them by cheering from the balcony! Anthony’s thoughtfulness, effort, and attention to detail put into the proposal, the ring, and the party were the perfect start to their future together. Currently, they are working on moving into their new house, planning a wedding, and enjoying their engagement with friends and family. Anthony and Erika love going to Disney together; they love to feel like kids again and enjoy the rides, food, and shows at all the parks! So… when they toured the Four Seasons at Disney, they knew it was the perfect place to say “I Do.” They can’t wait to share their special day with you, and I hope you feel the magic, too.
