Currently, those entering the United Kingdom from the United States who are FULLY vaccinated do not need to quarantine upon entering the United Kingdom. As of February 11, 2022 a negative PCR test is NO LONGER required to enter the United Kingdom NOR is it required to take a lateral flow test for those that are fully vaccinated. Currently, the UK government considers fully vaccinated to be either the 1 dose J&J or 2 dose Moderna or Pzier. We will still be required to fill out passenger locator form. Those that are not considered fully vaccinated will still need to oblige by current testing requirements. Finally, prior to returning the the United States proof of a negative PCR results is required taken no sooner than 24 hours prior to departure. As it is now less then 10 months away, you are now able to book your tickets through your preferred airline. We will be purchasing our tickets towards the end of December or beginning of January. As we have traveled frequently to the United Kingdom you can expect to spend $1,100-1,500. Anything under $1,500 should be considered a fair price. Those on the West Coast can find flights out of Los Angels for less than $1,000.
The wedding party will be flying to the United Kingdom approximately on June 13th. Anyone wishing to travel at the same time and take in some of the sites prior to the wedding date is more then welcome to book their travel with us!

Yes! To enter the United Kingdom as a United States citizen, a valid USA passport is needed. You do not need a visa, however you need to have your Covid locater form in addition to proper documentation showing where you will be staying and plans for leaving the country to allow your entry to be much smoother.
If you test positive upon arrival to the United Kingdom you will be required to quarantine. The following is the quarantine rules for testing positive on arrival. You must take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 after you arrive. If the test result is positive, you must self-isolate. The standard self-isolation period is 10 full days. The day you took the test is day 0. You can stop self-isolating after 7 days if you do a rapid lateral flow test on days 6 and 7 of your self-isolation period and: both tests are negative you did both tests at least 24 hours apart you do not have a high temperature If you do a rapid lateral flow test on day 6 and test positive, wait 24 hours before you do the next test.
