Anthony and Claudia both attended Penn State, Anthony graduating in 2014 and Claudia the following year in 2015. The couple had crossed paths as integral parts of the State of State student organization. Anthony was a speaker at the event, and Claudia was an organizer. After the event, Anthony attended a party at Claudia's college apartment, but their story together wouldn't start for a few more years. In 2016, a mutual friend, Melissa McCleery, played matchmaker and set Claudia and Anthony up when they were in town for the annual Blue and White football game. Claudia was living in Nashville, and Anthony had just moved to Washington D.C. after a stint in San Francisco. The couple hit it off at the game, and although they lived in different cities, Anthony came to Nashville to visit two weeks after the game. And again, he visited the week after that. And the week after that. The couple started dating shortly after, and Claudia moved to D.C. a year later. In 2018, Anthony's career brought him to Minnesota, and Claudia would follow in 2019. Before Claudia made the jump to move to Minnesota with Anthony, he proposed in Nashville, the couples favorite city. Their story is just beginning, and they can't wait to be married in 2021.
