On Friday, September 8, 2017, Anthony and Clara were high schoolers being set up for homecoming by Clara’s sister, Olivia. On the Eastwood High School track, Clara and Anthony had no idea that a “Will you go to Homecoming with Me?” poster met with an eager “Yes!” would be the beginning of their life-long love story. Six years later, on October 8, 2023, homecomings and proms had all led up to the question Anthony would ask Clara in the El Paso Rose Gardens. A Sunday afternoon was the beginning of forever as Anthony got down on one knee to ask the most important question yet. “Will you marry me?” was answered with another eager “Yes!”, this one filled with assurance in the future ahead of them. Through high school, four years of long distance, a short-lived breakup, graduations, and starting careers, Clara and Anthony’s love for each other has remained constant through many phases of life. They could not be more thrilled to begin the next chapter of their lives united as husband and wife on May 10, 2025.
