Our story begins where all great romances do: in an Operating Systems class at the Colorado School of Mines. It was the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning masks were mandatory and classroom interactions were a bit different. Still, Anthony was immediately captivated by Cat. He was drawn to her sharp intellect, her bright red hair, and her gorgeous green eyes. In fact, he was completely smitten before he even knew what the bottom half of her face looked like! Not wanting to miss his chance, Anthony took a leap and asked Cat to go out with him the day before Valentine's Day. That first date sparked a connection that would carry us through our next big challenge. Anthony graduated a year ahead of Cat, which meant putting our new relationship to the test with a year of long-distance. Through late-night video calls and counting down the days until our next visit, our bond only grew stronger. Eventually, we closed the distance for good. We made our way to the Bay Area side-by-side, where we've both planted roots and started flourishing careers in technology. Today, we call Pleasanton, California, our home. From navigating masks and military deployments to building a beautiful life together in the Bay Area, it's been an incredible journey—and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
