When is my RSVP due?
Answer
Please RSVP no later than August 15th, 2024 via our Zola wedding website. Earlier is always appreciated!
Question
What attire should guests wear?
Answer
Black tie optional means we would love to see all of our family and friends dress-up as formally as they want! A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so why not go all out? Men are encouraged to wear tuxedos or suits. Women are encouraged to wear formal dresses. We want everyone to wear something that makes them feel confident and comfortable. Please send the bride or groom a picture of your attire if you are unsure if it would be appropriate or not.

When should we arrive?
Answer
Please arrived to the church at 12:30 to give enough time for traffic, signing our guestbook, using the restroom and finding your seats. Our cocktail hour begins promptly at 3PM. Unless you are immediate family/wedding party and have been privately asked to stay behind at the church for photos with our photographer, please leave the ceremony promptly as it ends so we can enjoy the entirety of our cocktail hour.

Where is the closest hotel?
Answer
We recommend the Residence Inn at 10 General Warren Blvd, Malvern PA 19355. It is a newer hotel, is 11 minutes from the reception venue and right next to the turnpike. A secondary option is the Hilton Garden Inn of Exton/West Chester located at 720 Eagleview Blvd, Exton PA 19341 or SpringHill Suites by Marriot West Chester/Exton location at 730 Eagleview Blvd, Exton PA 19341. Both of these hotels are directly across from each other and very close to the turnpike but are a couple minutes further from the Kimberton Inn. Guests are able to stay at any hotel they wish, there is no hotel block at this time. We recommend booking hotel accommodations sooner than later!

Church ceremony details?
Answer
The ceremony will be an hour, give or take. It will be a traditional Christian Orthodox wedding sacrament ceremony. Orthodoxy is a similar denomination in Christianity to Catholicism, which many of our guests are more familiar with, but with a few key differences. Can I bring a plus one?

If you received a plus one it will be listed on your invitation envelope listed as "Your Name & Guest" and will be listed with your party when you go to RSVP. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to the bride or groom.

Is there transportation from the reception to any hotels?
Answer
At this time, there will be no provided transportation. We recommend having 1 designated driver per vehicle to drive home or to a hotel after the reception.

How do I choose my meal?
Answer
The Kimberton Inn is a restaurant and equipped to serve a wedding of our size. Following the cocktail hour, guests will find their table numbers and seats, and everyone will order off the menu of 4 entrees chosen by the bride and groom. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please note them on the provided space of your RSVP and a substitution can be made, such as allergies, gluten-free, vegan, etc.

Is there parking available at the church and reception venue?
Answer
Yes, both have large parking lots attached to them.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! There will be an open bar during the cocktail hour in the restaurant bar space. While we are seated for dinner we will be served beer and wine. Following dinner, the reception room bar will be available again as an open bar.

Are kids invited?
Answer
Yes! All children of our friends and family are invited. You will see them listed when you go to RSVP. We are leaving it up to the parents to decide if they want a night to themselves or make it a family affair.
