While we know it’s not the first place many think of for vacation, we decided on Buffalo because it holds a special place in our hearts. We’re high school sweethearts who grew up here. It only feels right to celebrate our continued commitment in the place that shaped us. We also like to think that Buffalo has small-town charm and hope you might explore it a bit if you haven’t before!
We love an excuse to dress up! Our dress code is black-tie optional. Additionally, we kindly encourage guests to join us in wearing neutral colors, dark colors, or pastels when deciding on attire, as our colors for the day will focus on shades of white and black.
Black-tie optional is a wedding guest dress code that's slightly less formal than black-tie wedding attire. For men, we suggest a formal suit with a tie, or even, tuxedo. For women, a floor-length dress or a dressy pantsuit fit this dress code. While we encourage attire to be more formal, we do not want anyone to feel uncomfortable. Wear what makes you feel good!
Yes, children are most definitely welcome; however, please be aware that the music and atmosphere later into the reception may be more geared towards an adult celebration.
For the ceremony, there is plenty of parking in the church lot. For the reception at the InnBuffalo, there is some street parking available. As the church and Inn are seven minutes apart, it may be more convenient to carpool or use other ride-share services.
