Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your kids, we decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us and enjoy a night off!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on the invitation. If your invitation says “{Your Name} and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Will the reception be open bar?

Answer

Yes, all liquor, beer and wine will be on the house during the reception and cocktail hour. The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you - we can't wait to celebrate with you!

What color will the bridesmaids be wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be wearing dusty blue colored dresses.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please send RSVPs by July 13st, 2024.

When should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Please be in your seat no later than 4:45pm.

Where will the ceremony and reception be?

Answer

The ceremony will be on the grass overlooking the ocean, weather permitting. Cocktail hour will immediately follow on the upper patio. Dinner and dancing will be held in the Royal Ballroom. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be inside in the Royal Ballroom.

Will there be a shuttle to take me to the venue if I am staying somewhere else?

Answer

We will have a shuttle taking guests to and from the Quality Inn in Old Saybrook and Pier Blue Inn in Old Saybrook before and after the wedding. If you are staying somewhere else, you will be responsible for transportation yourself.

Where should I park?

Answer

If driving is your preference, Water's Edge Resort and Spa has an abundant complimentary parking lot along with valet parking.
