We met how all young people meet now a days, on a dating app. One of my friends made a Tinder profile for me in October of 2018 and I saw Tony's profile and swiped right. After that it was history, we would see each other ever chance we got between work and classes. In February of 2019, I moved back home and we made a long distance relationship work. After about 5 months of long distance, we made the decision to move in together in Springfield. Since then we have been living together and growing our relationship to where it is now.

In the almost 5 years of Tony and mine's relationship, we hadn't taken a vacation just for us. We had taken vacations in the past but to visit family. We decided to take a vacation in Key West, Florida for our 5 year anniversary. We spent the time there lounging in the sun, swimming at the beach and walking around Key West. On our anniversary, we went on a snorkeling expedition in the morning but the conditions weren't in our favor so we got a free boat ride. After that we walked around town to look for a place to have dinner later that evening just before sunset. Once he found a place, we walked to the bus pick up spot to take us back to the hotel to get ready. I told Tony that I wanted to take a nap before getting ready since we had to be up early for the snorkeling expedition. Once we both woke up from the nap we realized that we had slept to late and wouldn't be able to get ready, have dinner all before sunset. Tony decided that we wouldn't go out to dinner but would take a video from our balcony with the moon in the background. After some time, Tony asked me if I knew why he wanted to go to a little beach area during sunset. He then started to drop to his knee but I dropped with him and said yes.
